Our first Upcycled Wedding!

How fun to use recycled materials for wedding decor! We were very lucky to have had a beautiful bride ask us to help create her rustic wedding decor, of course with recycled materials! It’s was an exciting new adventure for us, and so much fun!!!

We made an old farmhouse window into a memory board by replacing the bottom and top glass pane with chicken wire and painting middle pane with chalkboard paint. We also added the decorative clothespins to clip photos of the couple’s family members who could only be there in spirit, in order to remember them on their special day.

This is the ring bearer pillow made from a very old silverware box. Completed with the rustic charm and hand lettering.

Her cake stand was made from a recycled pallet. This was sanded, stained, hand lettered and sealed.

For the final items we used scrap wood to make directional signs with quotes. (Note: this is a beach wedding! đŸ™‚ )

All of our work is hand painted, and custom created with special consideration for the bride’s requests and keeping special old items living on and out of landfills! The wedding will be in the spring of 2015, so stay tuned and we will post the pictures of the items in action at the wedding.

Do you have a wedding idea you want us to create? Let us know!
